Motorcycle Fuel Pump Relay

Engine stop relay powers both the circuits to switch the fuel pump relay and the voltage source for the pump on one side of the relay.

Motorcycle fuel pump relay. Try disconnecting the supply line from the pump turn on the bike and check for fuel delivery. Im just not sure if the pump priming stops when its primed or if its on a timer. Open the connectors spray contact cleaner and blow out with compressed air.

Consequently the fuel pump relay is usually controlled by the ignition or powertrain control module PCM. Fuel filter not checked yet. Then I tested the relay according to this and it came out zero for most of that table.

Something very similar happens with the fan relay on later years. I tested the fuel pump by connecting it directly to the battery and it seems to work fine. A quick trip to Advance Auto and I matched a 30 amp 4 prong unit for 495.

Because your bike has carbs. Something is wet there in one of these connections. Riding along and blew fuel pump fuse.

Come in and talk about your favorite model. So I think Ive got no fuel pressure. The fuel pump relay is a safety design.

Ignition switch and engine stop switches must be active to engage engine stop relay. Read through those just figured I would ask. Have you got any fault codes.
