1957 white motorcycle. Here is a very rare example of what appears to be an original paint survivor. Csepel sold lots of these bikes but we dont get to see very many in the US. Although the companys founders died in the 1950s Harley-Davidson remained family-owned until it went public for the first time in 1965.
That looks to be a 250 which is more commonly called a Csepel Pannonia. Indian closed down in 1953 leaving Harley-Davidson as the only American motorcycle company in a growing market. This 1957 D-Csepel Danuvia 125 was manufactured by Hungarian firm Danuvia in its Csepel plant.

The Four cylinder motorcycle is a rare thing indeed and Pierce and Henderson produced them in the US whilst over in europe only FN of Belgium Motobecane of France MV of Italy as well as Windhoff and Zundapp in Germany and Nimbus of Denmark made any useful amount of them but Matchless made the short lived Silver Hawk V4 from 1931 and Edward Turners classic Ariel Square Four of the same year stayed in production right through till 1957.
